Instagram hashtags
In juni 2015 kon u hier een overzicht vinden van het aantal Instagram-posts voor de Belgische provinciehoofdsteden (in dit bericht). Sommige Instagram-gebruikers maken er een sport van om zoveel mogelijk hashtags aan hun Instagram-posts te koppelen. De locatie waar de foto genomen is, is vaak één van deze hashtags. Bijgevolg is dit overzicht een vorm van "beauty-contest" tussen de provinciehoofdsteden.
Na bijna 2,5 jaar mocht dit overzicht een update krijgen.
De populairste locatie in december 2017 is natuurlijk Brussel, vooral met de Engelstalige en de Franstalige benamingen Brussels en Bruxelles.
De kolommen op deze kaart geven een indicatie van het aantal Instagram hashtags per provinciehoofdplaats en per taal.

De vergelijking van de bekomen aantallen Instagram hashtags leek mij ook interessant. Op 2,5 jaar is het aantal hashtags gestegen met 90% tot 200%. Ruwweg gesproken wil dit zeggen dat het aantal bekomen hashtags verdubbeld tot verdriedubbeld is.
